Bulletin 4 published
Bulletin 4 is now available with final race instructions, schedules, arena layouts, and live tracking details for WMTBOC 2026 in Mora. Everything is set – let's go!
We are pleased to announce that Bulletin 4 for the World MTB Orienteering Championships 2026 and Junior World MTB Orienteering Championships 2026 (part of the CX80 World Cup) is now published!
As is customary for the final bulletin, it contains all the essential race instructions and practical details for the championship week:
- Race Details: Final course data, start and finish procedures, quarantine rules, and arena layouts.
- Model Event: Available on Tuesday 25 August to get a feel for the terrain and test the SPORTident AIR+ contactless punching system.
- Live Coverage & GPS: All athletes will carry GPS units, with live tracking and results broadcast on IOF LIVE.
Race Schedule
- Tuesday 25 August: Model Event (12:00–16:00)
- Wednesday 26 August: Middle distance at Arena Hemus (first start 10:00)
- Thursday 27 August: Long distance at Arena Hemus (first start 08:00)
- Friday 28 August: Rest day and public race
- Saturday 29 August: Sprint at Moraparken / Event Centre (first start 10:00)
- Sunday 30 August: Relay at Moraparken / Event Centre (first start 10:00)
Opening Ceremony with Mora Spelmanslag
A highlight of the week will be the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday 26 August at 17:00 at the Event Centre (Moraparken). The ceremony will feature traditional folk music performed by Mora Spelmanslag. We encourage all teams, spectators, and friends to attend and enjoy the atmosphere.
